I u Danskoj i u Norveškoj je tradicija da se održi nekoliko govora. To se ne odnosi na ovo venčanje.

Nordijske tradicije Na venčanjima:

• Svako suprotnog pola treba da poljubi mladenca/mladoženju u obraz kada je jedan od njih nije prisutan.
• Kada gosti kucaju u čašu, mladenci moraju da ustanu na stolicu i poljube se.
• Kada gosti lupaju nogama, mladenci moraju da se poljube ispod stola.
• Nakon prvog plesa sa mladencima, mladoženjina pratnja treba da mu odseče vrhove čarapa.

Nordic wedding traditions:

• Everyone of the opposite sex should kiss the bride/groom on the cheek when one of them is not in the room.
• When the guests clink their glasses, the bride and groom must get up on the chair and kiss.
• When the guests stomp their feet, the bride and groom must kiss under the table.
• After the first dance with the bride and groom, the groom’s entourage should cut the tips of his socks.
